  1. Ingredients:
    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 pound shrimp, cleaned and deveined
    Kosher salt and black pepper to taste
    6 cloves garlic, minced
    1/8 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
    2 tbsp cold butter, cut in 4 pieces
    3 tbsp lemon juice
    1/3 cup chopped Italian parsley, divided

    Directions:
    Heat olive oil in a heavy skillet over high heat until it just begins to smoke. Place shrimp in an even layer on the bottom of the pan and cook for 1 minute.
    Season shrimp with salt and black pepper; cook and stir until shrimp begin to turn pink about 1 minute.
    Stir in garlic and cayenne pepper; cook and stir 1 minute. Stir in lemon juice, add cold butter, and the parsley.
    Cook and stir until all butter has melted to form a thick sauce and shrimp are pink and opaque about 2 to 3 minutes.

    Serve shrimp and enjoy!
